If you use dry shampoo every day for a couple of months without showering, you might start to smell pretty ripe to the people that come around you. Yes using dry shampoo in a pinch with you are hurried for time is great. However, converging from showers and water to dry shampoo permanently is not recommended. Although there are some French skincare products on the market that are truly amazing, nothing is better than cleansing with good soap and good old-fashioned water.

Applying Dry Shampoo

Using dry shampoo is not very difficult at all. The first thing you want to do is make sure that you have a way to get rid of the excess shampoo that is left in your hair. You don’t want to apply the shampoo to your hair and just leave it there. That could cause problems. So, before you start make sure you are prepared to get the stuff out. A towel will work great.

Once you are ready for the cleansing to commence, simply spray the aerosol directly into your hair from the application. If you have long hair, spray the aerosol in layers on your hair by holding sections back, and spraying section by section until all of your hair is covered in the spray.

Next, rub the shampoo gently into your hair and into your scalp for approximately 22 seconds. You can go longer if you feel like you need to, but the shampoo has to be in your hair for at least 22 seconds in order to be effective. Make sure you get it on your scalp too because it will remove dirt and oil from there as well.

After you rub the shampoo into your hair and scalp, simply use the towel to brush away and dry out the leftover shampoo.

When you are done toweling yourself off, simply run a brush or comb through your hair, the way you normally would then continue on with the rest of your day with nice clean hair. Enjoy.
